MIZRAIM                    FATHER OF THE EGYPTIANS Mizraim’s father, Ham, had the actual experience of sailing in Noah’s ark during the world flood.   While Pangaea was still united during the dispersion of man from the tower of Babel, Mizraim accompanied his father to the continent of Africa where Ham erected a government that became known for its wisdom. Mizraim came into prominence, after his father’s death, when Ham’s land became his.  “The land of Ham” was then called Mizraim translated Egypt in English. This Coptic land known as Egypt was described in Scripture not as the desert it has become.  1 Chronicles 4:40 describes the former glory of this land stating:                            “They went … unto the east side of the valley,  to seek for                             pasture for their flocks.  And they found fat pasture and                             good, and the land was wide, and quiet, and peaceable;                             for they of Ham had dwelt there of old.” EGYPT’S GREATEST GLORY Egypt’s greatest glory does not lie in its pyramids or the crouching Sphinx that kneels before them.  Egypt’s greatest glory does not lay in the Valley of the Kings that contains the tombs of Egypt’s nobles such as the great riches found in the ornate tomb of King Tut, the black boy king known as Tutankhamen, ruler over this land of Ham.  Egypt’s greatest glory was when another boy king, who according to the Magi and a Jewish Prophet was “born King of the Jews” of a Jewish virgin, who hid him in this African nation for half of his adolescent. (Matt. 2:13-14)  During the Christmas season, the western world sings a song called “We Three Kings.”  Contrary to popular opinion, New Testament Scriptures do not refer to them as kings neither did it number them as three.  Furthermore, none of the Magi were present at the manger scene.  Therefore, they did not find the Christ child “wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger.”  The Magi never saw the manger.  These wise men arrived almost two full years afterwards by following a star that led them to the Christ child.  The star that the Magi referred to as “his star” led them to “the house” where the Christ child was with his mother and step-father, Joseph. (Matt. 2:11)   The word Magi means priests and these priests understood the story that God placed in the stars regarding the story of the savior of the world.  Today the pseudo science called Astrology perverts these signs to mean things other than what God intended.  These wise men read and understood the stars pictorial plan of the ages placed there by God before the foundation of the world.
